Marine Oil Painting.

Born in Baltasound, Shetland in 1948, Jim's interest in the sea and painting was evident from a very early age.
He sold his first oil painting at age 13! He attended art college upon leaving school, but academic life was not for him.
He spent most of his life working in administrative jobs, with painting as a hobby and profitable sideline, only becoming a full-time professional artist in 2003, when he had his website created.
His marine oil paintings are in demand from seafarers and lovers of the sea worldwide.
