In 1988 we moved with our five children to the small village of Högboda, the metropol between Stockholm, Gothenburg and Oslo, situated between Karlstad and Arvika in the county of Värmland.
Since 1999 we have shared a studio where we work with art glass. Prior to that Håkan worked only in wood and Karin has worked with textiles of all kinds and forms.
We used to work in separated studios, but never the less have remained close companions.
After 20 years of artistic cooperation, we still inspire each other, now more than ever, because of the glass and daily cooperation.
Most of the time we´re working with unique pieces and sculptures, but we also have serial productions of, for example, candleholders.
Håkan attended a jured class at Pilchuck Glass Scool, 2003.
We are members of ReForma Arts & Crafts in Karlstad and Arvika Arts & Crafts in Arvika, which both have a shop and gallery. We are also members in KIF and Värmland Artists Association. You are welcome to visit us in our own gallery.
Most days you can find us in our studios but if you want to be sure give us a call.
